Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and forward-thinking professional to join our Group management
team. The role will be dedicated to driving permanent improvement programmes across all
commercial laboratories, with a strong focus on operational excellence, efficiency, and digital
transformation.
A key focus will be monitoring and improving Turnaround Time (TAT) and other performance
measures across entities, while ensuring our laboratories adapt effectively to emerging IT and
AI technologies
Key Responsibilities:
Continuous Improvement
- Lead group-wide initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity in laboratory
operations.
- Standardise best practices, workflows, and reporting frameworks across all entities.
- Monitor and enhance Turnaround Time (TAT) as a critical performance metric for client
satisfaction and service delivery.
- Identify bottlenecks and drive structured solutions using Lean/Six Sigma or other
improvement methodologies.
IT & AI Transformation
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement IT solutions that support laboratory operations,
client services, and business functions.
- Develop and lead strategies for adopting AI technologies to improve testing efficiency, data
integrity, and reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with laboratory managers, IT vendors, and external partners to ensure
systems are future-ready, scalable, and compliant.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a central point of contact for group-level projects, ensuring alignment and synergy
across all subsidiaries.
- Partner with management and laboratory leadership to prioritise and deliver improvement
initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and performance dashboards to Group management.
Change Management & Training
- Embed continuous improvement culture across the organisation through structured
communication and engagement.
- Design and deliver training programmes on new IT systems, AI tools, and process
improvements.
- Ensure sustainable adoption of new solutions and long-term effectiveness of implemented
changes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, IT, Business or related field.
- Proven track record in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or IT/AI
transformation projects.
- Familiarity with laboratory operations, testing services, or regulated industries preferred.
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes (e.g., TAT
improvement).
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt certification an advantage).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead change across diverse teams.
