JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in residential and industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical works.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, adaptability, and flexibility.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team, demonstrating initiative and commitment.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to address and resolve contractual disputes, ensuring compliance with contract terms and timely resolution of issues.
  • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Oversee project planning and execution, optimizing resource allocation and manpower efficiency.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interactions among various project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support contract administration and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Manage all quantity surveying duties, including valuations, variation work submissions, budgeting, cost control, cash flow management, claims processing, contract payments, and final account settlements.
  • Work closely with the procurement team on project administration.
  • Assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Analyze and prepare cost estimates for tenders.
  • Provide advice on procurement strategies and contractual claims.
  • Monitor project progress, analyze financial outcomes, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Evaluate completed work and prepare progress claims.
  • Track and assess variations in ongoing projects that may impact costs.
  • Conduct cost analysis for repair and maintenance projects.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation, including catalogues and sample boards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
