THE POSITION: ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated professional to join us as an Assistant Controller. Seeking a pro-active individual, who leads conversations and drives conversations with financial recommendations to management of our site. You will be the financial point of contact for site leadership across multiple functions including but not limited to operations, supply chain, customer account management. You will be responsible for month end close processes, in-year and long-range forecasting, and variances analysis that will give you direct communication to site leadership.
This role works onsite at our DTC Almere facility.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

  • Requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience;
  • Excellent computer skills including a high level of proficiency with MS Office products;
  • Proficient in both Dutch and English languages, both written and spoken;
  • And you are a real teamplayer!

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Financial planning and analysis experience;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse complex financial scenarios;
  • Finance experience within the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities
  • Support monthly financial reporting and key close processes;
  • Manage CAPEX budgeting, actuals reporting and fixed assets compliance;
  • Provide financial guidance to Operations Managers, Customer Accounts Managers, and Supply Chain Management;
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance and data analysis;
  • Provide cost, financial analysis/reporting, and key risks and opportunities;
  • Support annual and long-range strategic financial business plans;
  • Prepare and present key operating data for monthly reviews with site leadership;
  • Support audit requests and various ad-hoc projects;
  • Continuously look for ways to improve current processes and process automation.
