The Finance team at Glasshouse Systems is looking for an Assistant Controller. As an Assistant Controller, you will be working under the direction of the Director of Finance to support the accounting management operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relative fields
• In the process of obtaining CPA (advantage)
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role

• Support month-end financial close activities.
• Collaborate with departments to gather input and validate assumptions to support financial decision-making.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting framework.
• Perform and review account reconciliations and journal entries during the month-end and year-end close process.
• Help manage general ledger accuracy, accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactions.
• Assist in coordinating the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial reports for internal stakeholders and to support senior management decisions.
• Monitor internal controls and identify opportunities for efficiency and automation.
