Workplace Arrangements:
This role will follow a fully remote schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work from home for an 8-5 EST schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide support to the GTW Controller in managing and overseeing the financial operations of the organization
• Prepare monthly journal entries and accruals
• Conduct the month end close process for the organization including Fixed Assets
• Review specialist prepared Balance Sheet reconciliations, prepare high risk Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Partner with the business to develop GTW/Tiger Trucking budgets and forecasts
• Partner with the business to develop supply chain business cases
• Prepare and produce financial information for the year end audit
• Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for management

What You’ll Bring

• University degree in Accounting/Business
• CPA designation
• 5+ years of accounting department
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills including advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Experience developing relationships with departments outside Finance
• Ability to speak/read/ write French is an asset
• Retail experience
• Experience working in a large organization with many legal entities
• Excellent time management skills
