As Assistant Controller, you’ll take a leading role in financial operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance across the Kroeker Farms group of companies. Responsibilities
  • Support the Controller in managing day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
  • Oversee financial transactions and record journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform consolidation of multiple entities, including reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
  • Reconcile inventory accounts and support job costing for field operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of administrative systems, processes, and internal controls.
  • Support year-end audits and government reviews.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, PST, and other tax filings.
  • Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis for management and other stakeholders.
