JOB OVERVIEW:

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking an Assistant Controller to join our Ship Accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for key accounting and financial tasks, including reconciliation, reporting, and analysis. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth financial operations in an international environment. This role reports to the Ship Accounting Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in accounting and financial controlling.
• Strong ERP system skills – experience with SUN is a plus.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Proactive and able to work with a sense of urgency.
• A great team player with excellent stakeholder management skills.

• Process and book invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Post incoming payments and handle urgent pre-payments.
• Manage rebilling for both internal and external companies.
• Coordinate and process fund requests.
• Provide key financial data for monthly reporting.
• Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare audit materials and support audit processes.
