We are currently seeking an Assistant Automotive Controller to join our Serpa Chrysler team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with automotive dealership accounting experience and strong CDK knowledge to grow within a respected organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2+ years of automotive dealership accounting/finance experience (required).
  • Strong working knowledge of the CDK Dealer Management System (required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of dealership operations (sales, service, and parts).
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.A team player with a proactive and professional approach.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Automotive Controller will support the Controller and dealership management team by ensuring accurate and timely financial operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for Serpa Chrysler.
  • Performing account reconciliations, journal entries, and maintaining accurate schedules.
  • Supporting daily banking, cash management, and deposit reconciliations.
  • Assisting with floorplan reconciliations, lien payouts, dealer trades, rebates, and incentive postings.
  • Coordinating with department managers (sales, service, and parts) to ensure accounting accuracy.
  • Assisting with compliance requirements, audits, and reporting to ownership and OEM partners.
  • Preparing financial analysis reports to support management decision-making.
  • Assist in Payroll.
