EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • CPA designation required.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Previous experience supervising a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Advanced Excel skills, ERP experience preferred (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV, SAP)
Responsibilities
  • Assist in leading and managing the monthly, and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports, variance analyses, and forecasts.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll functions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including department collaboration.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Partner with external auditors for year-end audits and tax filings.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in financial systems, tools, and workflows, and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable financial regulations and corporate policies.
