An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, an innovative, high performing organisation committed to serving the communities of Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, North-East Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire.

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Cook to join our team and help keep our Firehouse Café running smoothly. As an Assistant Cook, you will play a vital role in supporting our Chef and ensuring our Café operates efficiently. You will possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a vibrant environment. Your duties will include:

• Preparation of the dining area for service.
• Assisting in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
• Washing and storing kitchen equipment.
• Assisting in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and hygiene within the kitchen environment.
• Supporting the team in day-to-day kitchen tasks.
