Conifers Nursing home is situated in the heart of the village of Great Wyrley, near Cannock and Walsall.
We provide long-stay,respite care and emergency stays for personal and nursing care. We have a majority of single rooms and two twin rooms, most with en-suite facilities.
We actively consult residents about menus and provide high quality meals which are freshly prepared at Conifers. Individual residents have their own nutritional needs and we ensure that suitable meals are provided which meet their individual requirments.
We are looking to appoint a Qualified assistant cook to cover bank shifts, as and when needed. The role would require flexibility to cover the head cook when she is on annual leave & other shift patterns.
Must have previous experience and skills of working within a busy kitchen environment. Must have a Food and Hygiene Certificate, Maintain high levels of service in hygiene . Assist Head Cook with any stock taking requirements.
