If you are interested in becoming a Modernist and working on the future of our brand, please see below our new opening for the role of Assistant Cook in Athens You will be in charge of food preparation and quality control from the arrival of food product to the point of serving the food to our guests. You will be part of the F&B Team, covering different shifts. Preparing cold & hot items for our breakfast (buffet & a-la-carte). Preparing cold & hot items for our F&B outlets, including private events. Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed. Interacting with our guests in a highly professional yet unpretentious manner, playing your part in making their stay memorable. Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, even when working to achieve solutions to challenges. Ensure 100% guest satisfaction levels. Lend a hand to not only guests but your colleagues and team alike - we’ve always been in it together. Working closely with the Service team to make sure the overall operation is running smoothly. Ensuring that food health and safety regulations (e.g. HACCP) are followed. Candidate profile: Customer-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, with a positive attitude. Eager to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way. Ability to perform under pressure and good time management skills. Relevant experience in a similar role. Competent cooking skills. English language will be a plus. Responsibilities

The Assistant Cook is responsible for food preparation and quality control from product arrival to service for both breakfast and private events. They must also monitor supplies, maintain health and safety standards, and collaborate with the service team to ensure guest satisfaction.
