This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced soccer setting, enjoys working with children of all ages, and wants to help shape both the culture and consistency of our programs. This is a hybrid coaching + operations role with a strong presence on the field and in daily program execution. Please note we are not hiring seasonal employees, applicants should be local to the Portland, OR area and able to work beyond the summer season. We do this through a child development approach and a variety of activities and programming through classes, leagues, camps, and party/events. What Makes This Role Unique This is not a traditional coaching-only position. You will: Be part of the daily leadership of a growing our Lil’ Kickers program Help shape how players experience our program Work closely with staff to improve coaching quality and consistency Have a direct impact on player retention and program growth Be trusted with both on-field coaching and off-field operations Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who: Enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment Is organized, proactive, and communicative Can balance coaching with light administrative responsibilities Brings energy, consistency, and accountability to every shift Wants to grow into a leadership role Schedule Summary For both our Southeast Portland and Beaverton locations, we are hiring a: Sunday–Wednesday Lead Wednesday–Saturday Lead Weekday shifts: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (with lunch break) Weekend shift rotation (7:00 AM – 1:00 PM) Wednesday shared leadership + weekly team meeting
