THE OPPORTUNITY

Salary: $122,728 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.
Location: Moorabbin campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Course Coordinator to join the Bachelor of Nursing Leadership Team at Holmesglen. Working closely with the Head of School, Course Coordinator, and key stakeholders, you will contribute to the strategic and operational management of the program. Your focus will be on supporting students to ensure a high-quality educational experience, promoting their success, well-being, and progression. In this pivotal role, you will foster collaboration and innovation across the program. The successful candidate may also deliver lectures, tutorials, or practical sessions, depending on program needs and expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Support students by providing course advice and progress guidance in collaboration with the Course Coordinator.
  • Liaise with academic and clinical teams to coordinate course materials, placements, and simulation activities that enhance student learning.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Educators to address student needs and resolve clinical placement issues.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and implementation to align with current nursing practices and healthcare trends.
  • Deliver lectures, facilitate teaching and clinical sessions, and apply evidence-based teaching strategies to support student success.
