Job Title: Assistant Daycare Director – Multi-Site Support
Location: Multiple locations across Montreal area (west island and south shore)
Employment Type: Full-time

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with licensed daycares in Québec.
  • Strong knowledge of MFA rules and regulations.
  • Proven experience in administrative and operational support within a childcare setting.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written (French and English).
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different team environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle

QUALIFICATIONS ET EXPÉRIENCE

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Daycare Director to support the daily operations of multiple daycare centers. This role reports directly to head office and works closely with each Daycare Director to provide hands-on assistance with administrative, operational, and compliance tasks. This is a mobile position requiring regular travel between our daycare locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Daycare Directors with day-to-day administrative and operational duties.
  • Ensure compliance with Ministère de la Famille (MFA) rules, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with registration, staff scheduling, parent communications, and recordkeeping.
  • Help coordinate educational programs, activities, and events.
  • Provide guidance and support to directors and educators to maintain high-quality childcare standards.
  • Step in to supervise classrooms when necessary.
  • Monitor and maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in each location.
