REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Trained n Aviation Management, Business Administration, Information Management, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in documentation management, compliance or quality systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
  • Experience with document management systems is an advantage

Responsibilities

[WHAT THE ROLE IS]

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant/ Deputy Manager (SMS Policy, Promotion & Regulatory Audit) for a one-year assignment to develop, manage, maintain documentation and streamlining of safety processes that supports our Safety Management System. This role ensures that all safety-related policies, procedures, and records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Documentation Management

  • Develop, update and maintain the SMS manual and supporting documentation
  • Create and maintain systematic filing systems
  • Ensure all documents comply with organisational standards and formatting guidelines
  • Implement version control and document tracking systems

Quality Control

  • Conduct regular check on documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Identify and rectify gaps or inconsistencies in existing documentation
  • Maintain documentation logs

Administrative Support

  • Assist team members with document retrieval and filing
  • Facilitate training and awareness sessions on SMS documentation standards and usage
  • Support the development of documentation templates and standardised formats
  • Prepare regular progress updates
