JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an Assistant Designer to support a leading fashion brand’s design team. This role is ideal for someone with strong sketching ability and technical design knowledge who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Designer will work closely with the Designer and Director in the daily design process, focusing on sketching and technical execution. Key responsibilities include:

• Creating silhouette sketching and detailed front/back technical sketches
• Researching fabrics and trims using shopping, online, and trend resources
• Coordinating layouts for artwork pages and presentations
• Creating, organizing, and updating reference libraries (fabrics, tech packs, samples)
• Assisting with technical packages and color line sheets

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years of design experience with technical design knowledge
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Centric PLM experience a plus
• Strong hand sketching skills preferred
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
