We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Development and Alumni Affairs Office: Major Duties and Responsibilities The Development and Alumni Affairs Office (DAAO) is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Development and Alumni Affairs Officer. The appointee will provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to facilitate the DAAO’s development, alumni relations, and engagement initiatives: Providing comprehensive secretarial support to the Director of Development and Alumni Affairs; Assisting the Director in overall office administration, coordination of activities, and liaison with internal and external stakeholders at various levels; Handling committees and University meeting matters, including preparation of papers, follow-up actions, and compilation of regular office reports; Providing clerical and logistical support for DAAO functions and University-wide events; Performing general administrative and logistical duties to support the daily operations of the Office; and Undertaking any other duties as assigned by the Director of Development and Alumni Affairs or his/her designate. Irregular working hours and occasional travels outside Hong Kong on a need basis are required. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: At least five subjects at Level 2 or above in HKDSE, including English Language, Chinese Language, and Mathematics; A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in secretarial duties and administrative support, with responsibility for the preparation and coordination of committee and University meetings, as well as event-related activities; Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua; Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills; Good computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing; Preferably equipped with solid IT skills and working knowledge of WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, digital marketing tools, and database management; Able to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail; Self-motivated, customer-oriented, results-driven, and an effective team player; and Experience in fundraising, public relations, or marketing will be considered an advantage.
