ASSISTANT DIETARY MANAGER

The Assistant Dietary Manager, in collaboration with the Food Service Director, is responsible for maintaining the standards of the Food Service Department, including policies, procedures, and compliance to federal and state regulations.

EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma Two years kitchen experience Supervisory experience
• At least two years’ experience in long term care preferred

  Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

• Oversee sanitation of entire department, ensuring compliance to standards of practice as spelled out in the FDA Food Code
• Oversee all kitchen operations and menus, including preparing and delivering meals
• Assist in the purchase all food, food service supplies and equipment, and account for and track expenses
• Ensure meals are appetizing and nutritionally sound
• Assist to hire, train, supervise, and schedule food service staff
• Function within the departmental budget for staffing, food, and supplies
• Meet goals set for resident satisfaction programs
• Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to improve the overall resident experience
