The Assistant Director plays a key role in organizing NTU’s alumni programmes, aimed at engaging the College of College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CoHASS)’s alumni throughout various stages of their lives and careers. These initiatives, led by the Office of Alumni Engagement (OAE) and College of College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CoHASS), aim to create opportunities for alumni involvement that support the University’s goals. The team’s strategic focus includes fostering a strong, engaged alumni community, building lifelong, mutually beneficial connections with NTU, and cultivating a sense of identity and pride in their alma mater.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
• Domain knowledge in Alumni/stakeholder relations, advancement, events management and community or professional network engagement.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in alumni relations and/or advancement and an understanding of the higher education landscape or professional/industry associations.
• Possess strong interpersonal, communication skills and excellent writing skills.
• Possess strong stakeholder management skills and project/vendor management abilities with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Ability and willingness to collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment while also working independently and being self-motivated.
• Proven experience in managing and executing webinars, and engagement programmes, preferably in an alumni relations or higher education setting.
