Description

This role will assist the creative services department to oversee the implementation of the marketing and communication efforts of Creighton Athletics. Position is responsible for developing and maintaining content to help promote all 14 Division I sports supported at the university. Responsible for assisting with all digital marketing, social media, graphic design and photography efforts for the department.

Responsibilities
  • Manage department and team social media accounts.
  • Develop and maintain content strategies for 15 social accounts on 3 separate platforms.
  • Provide graphic design for all 15 social accounts on each platform and for department use outside of social media (billboards, event programs, advertisements, etc.).
  • Manage branding efforts.
  • Assist in photographic and video efforts, including shooting, organizing, editing, and uploading of games, events, and practices.
  • Participate in managing the website and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Create content for recruiting efforts.
  • Manage student interns and Graduate Assistants.
  • Organize intern and Graduate Assistant schedules, including sign-ups, work schedules, and game assignments.
  • Manage the game and event schedule of full-time coworkers and coordinate with freelancers as needed.
  • Communicate with coaching staff regarding social media efforts, fan engagement, promotional projects, and scheduling changes.
  • Present and maintain the Creighton Athletics brand to new audiences.
    This role requires strong graphic design, video editing, and social media analytics skills. Complies with all applicable National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and BIG EAST Conference regulations in the performance of job duties.
