DESIGNATION : Assistant Director / Contracts Management (Bay East Project Office)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Contract Management, Quantity Surveying, Procurement is preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in large scale government development projects
  • Deep knowledge, proficiency and experience in working with government procurement systems and audit processes is required
  • Meticulous, numeric and analytical
  • A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Responsibilities

Gardens by the Bay comprises three distinct gardens: Bay South, Bay East, and Bay Central. The Bay East Project Office has been established for the meticulous planning and development of Bay East, with the Founders’ Memorial serving as the focal point.
You will be responsible for the proper roll-out of consultancy/construction contracts in a methodical and timely manner to ensure all procurement processes adhere to set government principles and guidelines. You will be the representative officer fronting procurement procedures and discussions amongst affiliated government stakeholders involved in the FM project, and will also be working closely with internal and external stakeholders, consultants and contractors. You are expected to provide consultative expertise on the calling & awarding of tenders and signing of contracts, and will monitor and facilitate payments with proper documentation.
As part of the project team, you will need to ensure proper project documentation throughout the planning, execution and closing out phases, and work with consultants for timely delivery of the project.
