[What the role is] The Corporate Communications Division's mission is to shape perceptions of MAS and the Singapore financial sector through engagement with MAS’ stakeholders. [What you will be working on] You will be part of a team that is responsible for communicating MAS’ policies to external stakeholders such as industry players, other regulators and central bankers and the general public through the mainstream media, events, and online platforms such as the MAS website and social media. You will recommend effective communication strategies, and assess the likely impact of MAS’ announcements for our policies, issues and initiatives to reinforce Singapore’s strengths as a well-regulated international financial centre. You will also support MAS’ crisis management efforts through effective communications strategies, and handle written and verbal queries from the public about MAS’ policies. [What we are looking for] At least 3 years of relevant work experience in communications or public relations, preferably in the financial industry. Experience in dealing with local and international media. Excellent command of the English language with strong writing abilities. Good presentation and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing effective communications strategies. Interest in public sector policy matters and broad overview of financial sector issues. Good project management skills.
