The Decision Support Unit (DSU) plays a central role in making this happen. Led by an Executive Group Manager who reports to the Chief Operating Officer, the DSU works across CHS to ensure information is accurate, accessible and meaningful. This enables better planning, stronger performance and improved outcomes across the organisation. The DSU promotes accountability in achieving strategic goals and builds organisational capability to align Activity Based Funding (ABF) with operational planning. It is also responsible for delivering ICT services, maintaining data quality, providing Health Information Services, and supporting both operational and non-operational planning through quality reporting and decision support. Reporting to the Director, Data Quality, the Assistant Director, Data Quality is a key leadership role within the DSU. The position is responsible for analysing, interpreting and improving health data to support CHS strategic decision-making, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements. It also involves working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure accurate and reliable data is available when it is needed most. In this role, you will help turn data into insight and insight into action, supporting patient care and enabling effective service delivery across CHS.
