[What you will be working on] What the role is: Part of the Strategic Planning & Digital Readiness Group in IMDA, the Digital Readiness Cluster drives the digital society agenda to prepare all Singaporeans for the digital future. The Cluster formulates digital readiness strategies, develops programmes and oversee all operations of the SG Digital Office and Digital for Life (DfL) Programme Office. It also directs and develops strategic engagements with key stakeholders, private, public and people sector partners. The Cluster is driven by a united purpose to dream, design and deliver digital readiness initiatives for Singaporeans to embrace Digital for Life, and to live life enriched by digital. You will be part of a dynamic team which architects the Digital Readiness agenda to build an inclusive Digital Society. This includes priority areas like digital access, digital literacy and wellness, digital engagement and adoption. As the Assistant Director leading the DfL Partnerships team, you will play an instrumental role in driving the national DfL movement, which aims to galvanise the community to help Singaporeans embrace digital as a lifelong pursuit and to enrich their lives. The movement will build on the momentum of many community efforts we have seen during COVID-19 and mobilise more partners and resources to help all Singaporeans feel excited, empowered and enriched by digital technologies. This includes growing a partner network to champion digital readiness in areas of access, literacy and wellness. Through a multi-stakeholder approach, you will drive programmes for sustainable impact. What you will be working on: 3P Partnerships & Initiatives Reporting to the Deputy Director, you will develop and execute stakeholder and partnership strategies to advance the Digital Readiness agenda Leading the partnerships team, you will strategically identify, engage and secure new partners to grow the portfolio of 3P (private, public, people) accounts under the DfL Movement, and design and deliver a diverse set of 3P partnership initiatives You will collaborate closely with other line divisions within the Digital Readiness Cluster and IMDA to build an inclusive digital society With relevant agencies, you will deepen collaboration and create policies and programmes for Digital Readiness You will oversee the organisation of signature DfL events to rally 3P and the community Customer Relationship Management (CRM) You will support the implementation of effective CRM for the Digital Readiness Cluster, to maintain good knowledge management of 3P partner accounts on an ongoing basis Taking a data-driven approach, leverage CRM to identify partnerships gaps and develop insights to inform the stakeholder and partnership strategy more broadly [What we are looking for] What we are looking for: Systems level thinking to design stakeholder and partnership strategies Strong planning and execution ability to translate these strategies into actionable initiatives and ensure successful implementation Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage senior stakeholders and partner organisations and agencies and secure buy-in Partner relationship management skills Highly influential and change driver Good people management, both as a team lead and working across teams Adaptable self-starter, self-motivated and driven Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills http://jobs.careers.gov.sg The Singapore Public Service plays a key role in the economic growth, progress and stability of Singapore by formulating and implementing government policies, as well as providing key public services. Responsibilities
The Assistant Director will lead the DfL Partnerships team to develop and execute stakeholder and partnership strategies to advance the Digital Readiness agenda. This includes identifying and securing new partners, collaborating with various divisions, and overseeing signature DfL events.
