Position Overview:  The Assistant Director, in collaboration with the Director, is responsible for overseeing and implementing teen and adult recreational and social programs, as well as the after-school program, summer camps, and holiday camps. This role ensures adherence to policies and procedures, compliance with regulatory requirements, and achievement of program goals and target outcomes. The Assistant Director also supports the School Age Child Care (SACC) license, provides leadership and supervision to staff. The Assistant director must be available some evenings and weekends. Position Qualifications: Associate’s degree and minimum 2 years supervising staff at a community center or school program. Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, and meticulous organizational skills. Ability to write clear, concise and accurate reports. Comfort working in team settings and with diverse individuals. Must be computer literate. Must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
