New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint an Assistant Director, Executive Education Proposals & Content reporting to the Vice Provost, Executive & Professional Education.

The Assistant Director, Executive Education Proposals & Content plays a critical institutional role in translating NYU Abu Dhabi’s academic mission, strategic priorities, and market-facing ambitions into high-impact, decision-ready proposal narratives that enable the Office of Executive and Professional Education (OEPE) to operate at scale with academic integrity and brand distinction. Reporting to the Vice Provost of Executive and Professional Education, the role works with faculty, academic leadership, program design and marketing to ensure that proposals for OEPE executive education and new OEPE initiatives are consistently robust with curriculum documentation, governance-ready program materials, and client-responsive narratives. By establishing a unified narrative architecture across OEPE’s program verticals, the Assistant Director, Executive Education Proposals & Content strengthens institutional credibility, increases the percentage of executive custom program proposals and RFP responses converted into funded partnerships or contracts, accelerates program approvals, and enhances the university’s capacity to engage ministries, enterprises, families, and lifelong learners with confidence and consistency. As an internal editor and strategic synthesizer, the Assistant Director, Executive Education Proposals & Content enables senior leadership to make informed decisions and faculty to deliver to a variety of audiences with clarity and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Ideation, Discovery & Proposal Development

  • Develop and refine client facing proposals and program narratives that articulate rationale, audience, learning outcomes, curriculum structure, delivery format, and value proposition across OEPE’s program verticals
  • Draft and edit required documentation for proposals, including program descriptions, concept notes, curriculum descriptions, course synopses, learning outcomes, competency frameworks, and assessment narratives
  • Collaborate with faculty and academic leadership to ensure clarity, coherence, and academic integrity in client facing proposals and all program materials
  • Support internal governance and approval workflows by incorporating feedback from academic committees, legal review, and senior leadership
  • Incorporate data to meet client and program proposal needs
  • Work collaboratively with clients, ministry staff, academic directors, and faculty during the ideation, discovery, and proposal development stages
  • Develop and write RFP response requirements, including capability priorities and formal proposal standards.

Academic & Program Narrative Development

  • Produce tailored written materials for executive custom programs, including proposals responding to RFPs and enterprise or ministry partners
  • Develop proposals across academic verticals that include documentation for programs, market rationale, curriculum progression, and employability outcomes
  • Support academic governance and approval workflows by preparing, revising, and quality-assuring proposal program documentation for committee review, legal and policy compliance, safeguarding standards when applicable, and senior leadership approval
