This is an opportunity to shape performance, influence strategic decision-making and contribute to the continued success of one of the city's most exciting luxury destinations.   About the Role Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Assistant Director of Finance plays a pivotal role in leading the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Office and supporting the hotel's overall commercial success. The position combines strategic financial leadership with operational excellence, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, compliance and business performance across the property. As a trusted business partner to the wider leadership team, you will provide financial insight that supports informed decision-making, while helping to create a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Working at the intersection of finance, operations and people leadership, you will help drive profitability while enabling exceptional guest experiences.   Key Responsibilities * Support the Director of Finance in overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting Office, ensuring accuracy, compliance and operational effectiveness * Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting activities, delivering timely insights that influence business performance and strategic decisions * Ensure the integrity of profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls across the hotel * Lead internal, external and regulatory audit processes while maintaining compliance with Marriott standards, local regulations and financial governance requirements * Partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and resource utilisation * Leverage technology, systems and analytical tools to enhance reporting capabilities and provide meaningful commercial insight * Coach, develop and inspire the finance team through open communication, performance development and recognition of success * Foster a strong accounting and operational control environment that safeguards assets, manages risk and supports sustainable business growth   The Ideal Candidate We are seeking a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment and brings both analytical expertise and people leadership capability. You will demonstrate an ability to influence and inspire others through collaboration, integrity and clear communication, while acting as a trusted advisor to hotel leadership.
