DESIGNATION : Assistant Director (Digital Transformation & Information Technology)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience managing enterprise and operational technology systems.
  • Proven experience in digital transformation, project management, vendor management, procurement, and system lifecycle management to deliver projects on time and within budget..
  • Experience with AI/Machine Learning, Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate, and UiPath.
  • Understand and experience in implementation the following will be advantages:


    • AI-driven solutions, e.g. chatbots, predictive analytics, generative AI.

    • IoT sensors, devices, gateways, edge computing, cloud integration, and integration of IoT systems (e.g., environmental sensors, plant monitoring systems, smart lighting, energy management).
    • APIs and middleware to connect IoT platforms to dashboards and analytics tools.
    • Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or equivalent analytics platforms.

    SOFT SKILLS

    • Independent, quick-thinking self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and manage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate and improve technology performance.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
    • Passion in keeping up with technical innovation and trends in AI, machine learning, automation, robotics, etc.
    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    We are seeking a strategic, forward-thinking, and hands-on Assistant Director, Digital Transformation & Information Technology to lead, plan, modernize and manage enterprise and operational systems. These systems include adopting of technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Robotics, Automation and Data Transformation initiatives within the organization. Your role is important to drive innovation, enhancing business processes, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to achieve digital transformation objectives for Gardens by the Bay. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to ensure successful project delivery and maintenance to drive organizational growth.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead and manage enterprise and operational systems, including smart technology platforms (e.g. IoT, Robotics, etc) and ensuring system availability, performance, and alignment with operational needs.
    • Drive process optimization and introduce automation and innovative solutions to support business goals.
    • Plan and deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, using strong analytical skills to assess system performance and technology adoption effectiveness.
    • Develop and maintain project documentation with metrics to manage project progress, risk and reporting to management. This includes project planning, securing budget, procurement, implementation and evaluation.
    • Support emerging technology pilots, fit-gap assessments, and market scans to recommend appropriate technology solutions.
    • Take lead to align system capabilities with user department on their operational needs, supporting communications, training, and onboarding activities.
    • Facilitate post-implementation evaluation to measure the success of the projects against predefined objectives.
    • Champion user feedback and identify opportunity to drive continuous improvements and future enhancement.
    • Provide leadership to team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
