THE CENTRE

The Rumpus Room Marks Point is a boutique, Exceeding-rated early learning centre catering for 32 children aged 0–5 in a warm, family-grouped environment. Located near the lake, our mixed-age setting fosters strong social and emotional development, supported by differentiated routines through our Infant (Mischief Mountain) and Preschool (Wild Things) teams. Responsibilities
  • A completed Diploma in Children’s Services and/or Bachelor of Education (or working towards it)
  • Prior experience working in a long day-care centre in a leadership role or in a management role.
  • Can work Full time and flexible in shifts.
  • Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF.
  • Good knowledge regarding the 11-child safe standards and child protection
  • Budget and financial accountability experience (including Labour cost experience)
  • Current First Aid and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, and valid Working with Children check for VIC state.
