About the Role: The Assistant Director provides high level operational, strategic and executive support within the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC). This position has a key coordination role in the delivery of CHS transformational agenda across the acute, planned and subacute care streams. Reporting to the Executive Director, IOC, the position works in close partnership with the IOC senior leadership team and collaborates with CHS executives, data and analytics teams, clinical leaders, operational managers and colleagues across directorates to achieve outcomes. The IOC supports patient flow across the care continuum through the development of systems and processes including real-time and predictive management of patient flow, operational and capacity planning, escalation protocols/pathways and system-wide coordination of services. The Assistant Director provides high level advice and executive coordination in support of these functions, including coordinating and preparing briefs, correspondence, reports and analyses, and supporting the governance, performance and operational forums and functions of the IOC. To be successful in this role, the incumbent will demonstrate highly developed written and oral communication skills, the ability to operate with agility in a dynamic and fast paced environment, and the capacity to rapidly acquire and apply knowledge across a range of complex operational and strategic contexts.
