We have a perfect opportunity for you to join a team that prepares children for school and for life We are looking for an experinced Assistant Director to assist with operations of Kiddie Academy of Bellevue. We are Kiddie Academy (KAGS Group). A group of locally owned educational childcare centers in the Greater Seattle area. KAGS Group academies are located at Bellevue, Bothell, Kenmore, Kirkland, Mill Creek, and Seattle. Position Overview: You will be part of the management team and you will work closely with the Academy Director to guide a passionate team of child care professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children. If you’re motivated by smiles and hugs from children and praise from parents, this could be the job for you. In this role you will assist and support Director in all aspects of management of the Academy including human resource development, staff scheduling, program planning, program implementation and evaluation; student assessments, family relations, marketing, enrollments and academy operations. Position Requirements: Minimum two (2) years of full time experience in managing center-based programs in an Assistant Director or similar management role. A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for child care centers and agreat understanding of developmentally-appropriate practices Must have at least an AA degree in child care or management, or related field.
