We are currently seeking a motivated Assistant Director of Care to support a facility on Manitoulin Island. This temporary contract offers an exciting leadership opportunity, with accommodations fully provided.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Director of Care will assist the Director of Care in managing day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and a supportive work environment. This role is ideal for an RPN looking to advance their leadership experience while making a meaningful impact on the community.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license in Ontario.
  • 1–3 years of nursing experience (including international education/experience), with at least 1 year of Canadian clinical experience in hospital, LTC, retirement home, or home care settings preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a temporary leadership role.
