Job Description Reporting to the Director of Finance, this is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated finance professional with leadership experience to further develop their career as an Assistant Director of Finance. In this role, you will support the Director of Finance in the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, with direct oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Stores. This position includes a comprehensive 2–3-month handover period with the current Assistant Director of Finance to ensure a smooth transition. Position Details: Full-time position Start date: April/May Occasional weekend work required Salary: $95,000 – $105,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Prepare and complete month-end reporting accurately and within required timeframes Supervise and support the finance team, including coordination with IT support where required Partner with Department Managers to identify opportunities to improve departmental profitability Develop, implement, and monitor financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and streamline operations Ensure ongoing review and compliance with internal controls and financial policies Lead and support finance-related projects and process improvements Qualifications Previous leadership experience within a hotel or hospitality environment is highly desirable Knowledge of Opera (or similar PMS) is advantageous Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Demonstrated commitment to delivering authentic customer service, with a flexible and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving Additional Information As part of Accor, one of the world’s leading hospitality groups, we offer global career pathways, exclusive Ambassador benefits, and access to industry-renowned training through the Accor Hotels Academy.
