We are currently hiring an Assistant Director of Finance to join our Finance team at Carton House.

Key Requirements:

  • Hotel financial controller experience. Minimum 3 years experience in a busy 4/5* Hotel required.
  • Professional accounting qualification and or Business Management Degree or similar.
  • Strong IT skills in implementing and operating accounting software and front office systems.
  • Previous experience with Opera, Procure Wizard, Silverware and Micros would be beneficial.
  • Full working knowledge of Microsoft excel, outlook and word and performing high level analysis of financial data.
  • Demonstrate ability to contribute to the team objectives and business goals.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, excellent attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
  • Driven, ambitious, committed and and adaptable.
  • Excellent leadership skills and work collaboratively as part of a team
Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the Director of Finance and Business support.
  • Provide the highest standards or financial and commercial support to the business.
  • Manage all financial operations.
  • Conduct financial analysis and generate reports.
  • Develop and monitor forecasts & assist with the annual budgeting process.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safe guard hotel’s assets
  • Conduct regular audits and manage the audit process
  • Monitor and control operating expenses to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
