Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the F&B department
  • Assisting the Director of F&B with ongoing monitoring and analysis in the following areas:
  • Guest satisfaction
  • Marketing
  • Revenue and operating costs
  • Cleanliness and hygiene
  • Conducting weekly inspections of kitchens and restaurants with report preparation
  • Creating and managing wine and beverage menus
  • Conducting daily hotel inspections to observe operational standards and challenges, and following up with the responsible managers
  • Ensuring that the monthly stock adjustments of all operating materials in all outlets are updated
  • Representing the Director of F&B in their absence
  • Completing tasks and special projects assigned by the Director of F&B
  • Planning promotions and menus in collaboration with the Director of F&B and department heads, according to the annual marketing plan
  • Ensuring that all established action points, daily briefings, or bi-monthly operational meetings are followed by the relevant parties
  • Handling responsibilities under the guidance of the Director of F&B, such as recruiting specific employee levels, staff orientation, performance evaluation, and coaching to ensure adequate staffing and productivity
  • Ensuring that training is conducted for all F&B staff to maintain or improve our legendary service standards and comply with H&S standards
  • Creating labor forecasts
  • Supporting the hotel’s strategy plan, annual marketing plan, target program, and budgeting for the F&B department
  • Updating the daily, weekly, and monthly F&B report
  • Handling guest comments and complaints, as well as corrective actions in consultation with the Director of F&B and the relevant department head
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements affecting operations, including licensing regulations, health regulations, as well as fire and safety regulations
