The Assistant Director of HR at AYANA MidPlaza, Jakarta, is an essential leadership role responsible for managing the hotel's human resources functions. You will collaborate closely with the Director of HR to develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall business objectives while fostering a positive work environment. Your role will involve oversight of the complete employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and employee relations. You will ensure compliance with company policies and local labor laws, while also managing employee welfare and motivation programs. This position requires a proactive approach to addressing HR-related issues, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing employee engagement initiatives. You will monitor HR metrics to drive strategic decision-making and improve operations, as well as ensure that the hotel's operational needs are consistently met through effective workforce planning. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive employee records, responding to employee inquiries, and ensuring that all HR documentation is meticulously managed. Your ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff will be crucial in creating a supportive and inclusive workplace culture. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management At least 3 years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations in Indonesia. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. Skills in data analysis and HR metrics for decision-making. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork. HR certifications (such as SHRM or CIPD) are a plus.
