The Assistant Director of HR at AYANA MidPlaza, Jakarta, is an essential leadership role responsible for managing the hotel's human resources functions. You will collaborate closely with the Director of HR to develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall business objectives while fostering a positive work environment. Your role will involve oversight of the complete employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and employee relations. You will ensure compliance with company policies and local labor laws, while also managing employee welfare and motivation programs. This position requires a proactive approach to addressing HR-related issues, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing employee engagement initiatives. You will monitor HR metrics to drive strategic decision-making and improve operations, as well as ensure that the hotel's operational needs are consistently met through effective workforce planning. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive employee records, responding to employee inquiries, and ensuring that all HR documentation is meticulously managed. Your ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff will be crucial in creating a supportive and inclusive workplace culture. Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Human Resources Management At least 3 years with similar roles & positions HR certifications (such as SHRM or CIPD) are a plus. Proven experience in organizational development, change management, or a related field, preferably in a leadership role. Strong understanding of organizational development principles, theories, and best practices. Ability to analyze complex organizational issues and develop data-driven solutions Strong knowledge of relevant labour laws and regulations
