What We’re Looking For A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a preference for additional certifications or training in CompTIA A+, CCNA, or MCSA. A proven track record of Information Technology Experience in a Luxury Hotel environment, with a focus on Systems Administration, Network Management, and User Support. Comprehensive knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure, and a thorough understanding of servers, networks, telecommunications, security systems, and peripheral devices. Demonstrated proficiency in Troubleshooting Hardware, Software, and Network Issues, with a solid understanding of operating systems, databases, and cloud technologies Exceptional Time Management and Multi-Tasking skills, with a proven ability in Information Technology Project Management, including Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation. Strong familiarity with and understanding of Hotel Management, Property Management, and Point-of-Sale Systems and Guest Service Technology. Key Responsibilities Collaborates with the Director of Information Technology to Strategically plan, organise, and lead the activities of FIVE’s dynamic Information Technology Team, ensuring flawless execution of Policies, Procedures, and Service Level Agreements. Oversees the management and maintenance of FIVE’s Top-Notch Information Technology Infrastructure, including Servers, Networks, Telecommunications Systems, and Peripheral Devices, guaranteeing optimal functionality and system resilience. Partners with Departments across the Group to understand tailored technology requirements, delivering bespoke solutions that drive Operational Efficiency and elevate Guest experiences. Provides timely and effective Technical Support and Troubleshooting for Hardware, Software, and Network-related challenges, supporting both Guests and ‘FIVERs’ with precision and professionalism. Leads and supports the Procurement, Installation, and Configuration of new Information Technology Systems, Equipment, and Software Applications, ensuring seamless integration, compatibility, and compliance with FIVE’s high-performance Security Standards. Safeguards the Security, Integrity, and Confidentiality of FIVE’s digital ecosystem through robust Backups, Regular Updates, and Next-Generation Cybersecurity measures. Assists in the management and execution of key Information Technology Projects, including System Upgrades, Installations, and Migrations, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality benchmarks. Facilitates Training and Development for ‘FIVERs’ across the Group, empowering Teams with the knowledge to utilise Technology Systems, Applications, and Security Protocols effectively. Monitors and analyses Information Technology Performance Metrics, identifying opportunities to enhance reliability, speed, and innovation across all systems and processes. Responsibilities
