We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Information Technology Office: Major Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (Digitalisation and A.I.), the appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Leading the Management Information Systems team to plan, develop, enhance, and maintain management information systems for the University, such as Human Resources Management System, Financial Management Systems, Facility Management System, Customer Relationship Management System, Access Control System, and Information Enquiry and Broadcasting Systems; Developing, reviewing, and implementing policies and guidelines to provide quality application system services; Managing internal resources and external resources, such as vendors, to implement application system projects; Providing professional advice and support to users on application system implementation; Providing executive support to committees and working groups; and Performing any other duties as assigned. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognized degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline; Substantial knowledge and experience in supporting Oracle e-Business Suite development platform and technical infrastructure, as well as hands-on experience in the implementation ERP systems and online self-services, preferably with managerial experience in tertiary institutions; Solid and extensive experience in web/application/database server administration and configuration is desirable; Profound leadership, independent and proactive with good analytical and problem-solving skills; and Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficient in both English & Chinese. Responsibilities
