We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Information Technology Office: Major Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (Digitalisation and A.I.), the appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Providing leadership for the planning, implementation and maintenance of the University’s Student Information Systems as well as related service and applications; Overseeing system integration, data quality and process optimization to ensure efficient and effective information flow across academic schools and administrative offices; Collaborating with stakeholders to analyse needs, translate them into system requirements to meet the current and future needs of the University; Managing system upgrades, tenders, vendor relationships and project delivery to meet defined timelines and quality standards; Supervising an information system team to implement, develop, enhance and maintain ERP as well as other application systems of the University; and Performing any other duties as assigned. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognized degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related disciplines; Substantial knowledge and experience in Oracle/PeopleSoft development platform and technical infrastructure, mobile application development, AI implementation, web content management as well as hands-on experience in the implementation of student administration/ERP systems and Web Portal, preferably with managerial experience in tertiary institutions; Solid and extensive experience in web/application/database server administration and configuration is desirable; Profound leadership, independent and proactive with good analytical and problem-solving skills; and Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficient in both English & Chinese.
