We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Information Technology Office: Major Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (Digitalisation and A.I.), the appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Leading a team of IT professionals in the development, administration, and operation of the University's IT infrastructure with a Zero-Trust security model; Providing continuous improvement of the University’s server, virtualization, storge, networking, and cloud environments to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness; Driving the adoption and enforcement of industry-best-practice for IT governance, information security controls, risk management, and information security management based on ISO 27001; Overseeing the integration of systems, access control mechanisms, and identity management solutions to maintain a secure and resilient infrastructure built on contemporary technologies and best-practice architecture; Assisting the Office in the planning, formulation and execution of strategic IT initiatives, policies, and projects to cope with the University's development; Serving as the Information Security Officer and secretary to Information Security Committee of the University; and Performing any other duties as assigned. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognized degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related disciplines; Substantial knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure planning, administration and operations, preferably with managerial experience in tertiary institutions; Solid and extensive experience in the information security management and enforcement based on ISO 27001, enterprise architecture and technology transformation, and large-scale IT infrastructure projects; Solid and comprehensive experience in networking and data management is desirable; Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. TOGAF, CISSP, CISA, ITIL) would be an advantage; Profound leadership, independent and proactive with good analytical and problem-solving skills; and Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficient in both English & Chinese.
