At Gaudenzia, your purpose fuels progress - for yourself and others.   Gaudenzia's Mission: Gaudenzia's Mission is to promote long-term recovery by providing comprehensive treatment and support to people with substance use disorder, co-occurring mental health disorders, and related conditions, regardless of individual circumstances.   Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma orGED Experience: Five (5) years experience in a related area and Valid Driver's License   Your responsibilities in this role may include: * Perform routine inspections of buildings and grounds. * Should have a working knowledge of HVAC systems, Plumbing Systems, Electrical Systems, general building construction as it relates to problem solving. * Should be accomplished in all forms of carpentry. Able to perform basic door, trim and minor carpentry. * Significant experience with mechanical HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems. The employee should have a working knowledge and the ability to replace faulty or damaged parts. * Schedule and oversee routine inspections of buildings and grounds by outside inspectors when needed. * Oversee, inspect, and schedule repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, windows, doors, roofs, gutters, etc. * Familiar with all maintenance tools, power tools and how to safely use them. * Complete all maintenance assignments for the properties assigned, including minor carpentry, painting and other projects. * Should have OSHA 10 training as a minimum. * Maintain landscaping of the properties assigned, including cutting grass, killing weeds, trimming shrubs and trees, planting grass seed and trees, etc. and/or oversee this service with a contracted professional landscaper. * Must be familiar w/modality of all flooring, able to caulk and repair seems, do ceramic tile work and drop ceiling repairs and replacements. * Perform all work as required based on OSHA 10 standards of safety. * Must be able to provide repair and replacements at a Journeyman's level of work. * Keep exterior grounds free and clear of all debris, snow, leaves, etc. * Inspect recreational areas and equipment for maintenance required. * Eliminate safety hazards when possible; report all safety issues to immediate supervisor in a timely manner. * Maintain all tools and equipment in a safe, secure work environment.  * Assist and monitor contractors in renovation/building projects. * Run errands and make trips in order to obtain necessary equipment and supplies. * Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Director when other maintenance projects are not in process. * Maintain a valid driver's license.   Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities * Master's Level Mechanical Aptitude. * Master's Level Competence in maintenance and construction tasks, processes and basic tools. * Proficiency in basic computer skills and knowledge. * Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with other staff, agencies, the public and clients. * Ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
