Description The Pillars of Biloxi Community Living Center is looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing ( ADON ) to join our growing team! Assistant Director of Nursing ( ADON ) duties include but are not limited to: Plan, organize, and implement on-going education and in-service staff in accordance with company policy and procedures as well as local and federal regulations. Interview, recommend, hire, and train employees. Plan, assign, and direct work of employees in training. Assist, as needed, on administering TB, Influenza, and Hepatitis B vaccinations, and interpretation of drug test results and related issues. Ensure that employee attendance at in-service and other training programs is tracked and that education is offered to meet certification and/or regulatory requirements. Responsible for overseeing nursing services in the absence of the Director of Nursing. Other responsibilities as required. Responsibilities
