Join our team, where you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while enjoying competitive pay and opportunities for professional growth.   Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). In this role, you will have the opportunity to make an impact by overseeing clinical supervision and ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents. This is a leadership position with a focus on collaboration, education, and operational excellence.   Key Responsibilities As the Assistant Director of Nursing, your primary duties will include: * Clinical Supervision: Provide direct clinical supervision and leadership for residents, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care as the designated "day supervisor." * Staff Education & In-Service Coordination: Oversee and coordinate in-service training and educational programs for all departments. Maintain detailed in-service records to ensure compliance. * Accident & Incident Tracking: Monitor and report on accident and unusual occurrence tracking/trending systems to ensure timely responses and safety improvements. * Infection Control & Wound Care: Assist in monitoring and managing pressure sores, infection control practices, and ensuring the overall well-being of residents. * Resident Rounds: Conduct daily rounds on all facility residents at least twice a day to assess care and address any immediate needs. * Staff Scheduling: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to create and maintain effective schedules for nursing and CNA staff, ensuring adequate coverage at all times. * Direct Care Support: Step in to provide direct patient care as needed, especially when RN coverage is unavailable. * Triage & Support: Be available to triage phone calls and provide support as a resource for nursing staff. * On-Call: Participate in the weekend on-call rotation to ensure continuous, high-quality care for our residents.   Qualifications To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria: * Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of practice.  * At least 2-3 years of previous nursing experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or similar healthcare setting. Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of general nursing practices, rehabilitative care, and infection control.
