ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING (ADON) - WAIVER SERVICES Saint Joe’s Cincinnati, OH Saint Joe’s is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in the leadership and daily operations of the nursing department. This role provides clinical oversight, staff leadership, and ensures high‑quality, compliant nursing care for individuals with developmental disabilities. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide clinical leadership and support quality nursing care * Assist with onboarding, training, and performance management of nursing staff * Supervise and support Nurse Supervisors, Clinical Service Managers, and assigned staff * Oversee infection control practices and quality assurance initiatives * Manage MUI/UI investigations and regulatory compliance * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support person‑centered care * Support all waiver service nursing operations * Assume department leadership in the absence of the Director of Nursing * Participate in on‑call rotation and provide direct nursing support as needed ---------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS * Registered Nurse (RN) – Ohio license required * Minimum 2 years of nurse management experience * Experience in complex care (trach/vent) and developmental disabilities preferred * Knowledge of ODH, ODODD, and ODJFS regulations preferred * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills * Flexible schedule, including on‑call availability ---------------------------------------- WORK SCHEDULE & ENVIRONMENT * Salary position * Will include evenings, weekends, and on‑call coverage * Primarily indoor work with some off‑site meetings * Exposure to clinical environments and emergency situations ---------------------------------------- WHY SAINT JOE’S Saint Joe’s offers a mission‑driven environment where nursing leaders play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities through compassionate, high‑quality care.
