Yee Hong is one of the foremost providers of culturally appropriate senior care in the country, delivering high-quality resident experience and care to Chinese and other Asian seniors since 1994. The organization operates 805 long-term care beds and 308 seniors’ apartment units, with an additional 224 long-term care beds opening in a new home by June 2026. In addition, Yee Hong offers four campuses of managed care, a hospice residence, and a wide range of community-based senior and caregiver support services. Through this comprehensive network, the organization serves more than 15,000 individuals annually across the Greater Toronto Area.
In consultation with the Executive Director, plans and develops a high quality nursing care service that complies with relevant government legislations, policies and standards, and reflects the organization’s vision, strategic direction and resident centred approach.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered Nurse with current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 4 years nursing experience, including experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and Long Term Care Nursing, and at least 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a health care setting, preferably in long term care
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Strong leadership abilities. Ability to be flexible and agile and be a change leader in a highly demanding environment
  • Ability to build, manage and coach an effective, engaged, and high functioning team
  • Excellent conflict resolution and problem solving skills. Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Superb customer service skills
  • Computer literacy required
  • Experience with preparing and monitoring financial budgets.
  • Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screen result
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese, an asset.
