Description
The Assistant Director of Respiratory Therapy is responsible for the daily operations of the Respiratory Care, EEG, and EKG departments including all administrative, fiscal, and technical activities to ensure efficient provision of high-quality health care services. The Assistant Director is responsible for quality control activities, performance improvement, and clinical operations of the department. Additionally, the Assistant Director plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates the work of the department and coordinates its efforts with other areas of the hospital. The Assistant Director is also responsible for meeting all regulatory requirements related to Respiratory Care Bachelor's Degree Respiratory care Registered Respiratory Therapist Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Life Support (ACLS) - American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Five years’ clinical experience in area of specialty or related clinical field with at least two years’ supervisory or management experience
