Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Assistant Director of Sales to join our dynamic team in Movenpick Hotel Beirut . In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment Conduct site visits, sales trips to promote hotel products and services Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing in setting and achieving departmental goals and budgets Oversee the development of compelling proposals and contracts for clients Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business prospects Ensure seamless communication between the sales team and other hotel departments Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to enhance the hotel's visibility Assist in recruiting, selecting, and training new sales team members Handle high-level client negotiations and resolve complex customer issues Produce accurate sales forecasts and reports for upper management Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and sales strategies Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies Experience in managing and motivating high-performing sales teams Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Fluency in English Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Willingness to travel as required for sales activities and client meetings Additional Information experience is an asset Prior experience working with Opera or a related system Fluency in English additional languages are a plus Your team and working environment: In 1-2 sentences, introduce the team, property or office environment in a way that reflects the culture Note: Customization may be included for any specific local or legislative requirements, such as work permits Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
