Job Description We seek an experienced Assistant Director of Sales, preferably with prior experience in a similar role, a strong background in GCC market, and GCC/Qatar experience would be a valuable asset for this position. Lead local government, semi-government, and VIP accounts, ensuring strong relationships and consistent production. Actively manage and grow GCC market segments, with a clear strategy for KSA, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. Arabic speaker with strong communication skills and the ability to operate confidently with high-profile dignitaries and protocol-driven accounts. Proven experience in the Qatar or wider GCC market, preferably within luxury or lifestyle hospitality. Handle corporate clients, Diplomats, and large government delegations end-to-end, from contracting, negotiations, rooming list management, pre-arrival coordination, on-site hosting, VIP welcoming, stay oversight, and final checkout follow-up. Drive proactive sales, long-term agreements, and strategic partnerships aligned with the hotel’s commercial objectives. Strong team player with a positive, solution-driven mindset, able to collaborate effectively across all departments. Ability to handle contracting tasks, with working knowledge of key sales and hospitality systems (Microsoft 360, Opera, Delphi, Anais, Cvent…).
